Planning Made Simple

SUITABLE FOR: Early Years Foundation Stage practitioners working in playgroups, nurseries, creches or children’s centres with children from birth to five (end of their reception year). Learners should bring examples of planning from their setting, e.g. activity plans, learning journals or observation records.

COURSE INFORMATION: This course offers a whole setting approach for practitioners to plan within the EYFS framework. It will provide learners with opportunities to:

  • Share good practice
  • Explore observation, planning and assessment cycles
  • Discuss retrospective and forwards planning
  • Involve each member of staff with planning
COURSE AIM: To make planning for learning more effective by decreasing the paperwork in early years settings.
