Managing children's behaviour - part 1

This course comprises 3 workshops that cover all aspects of behaviour for children aged 2- 11yrs providing links with the EYFS learning and development for PSE and Playwork Principles. Each workshop can be accessed separately or as a series.

Part 1 – Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Managing Behaviour

SUITABLE FOR: Practitioners working with children from 2-11 years.

COURSE INFORMATION: This workshop will include scenarios and activities relevant to this age group and will explore the social and moral aspects of behavior looking at: What is understood by the term 'behaviour'; what is appropriate and inappropriate - reasons and types of behaviour; adult responses to behaviour; strategies for managing behaviour.

COURSE AIM: To provide practitioners with tools for dealing with behaviour and how to promote positive outcomes.
