    Nursery Practitioner (Level 3), Grade 5, (approx. Starting Salary £22,295), 37 hours per week - 39 weeks per year (includes INSET).

    This is a unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join us in the running of a nursery and pre-school facility for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The nursery opened in September 2021 as part of Great Oldbury Primary Academy. This is a chance to join a highly experienced and professional team with the aim of providing an excellent early years setting for local children.

    The successful candidates will be passionate about working in childcare, supporting a team and someone who relishes the challenge of keeping practice current and relevant. You will be responsible to the Nursery Manager. The desired candidate must be passionate about children’s learning and development, have excellent communication skills, enjoy getting messy and embrace all aspects of learning indoors and outdoors, whatever the weather. A successful applicant must have a keen belief in a child centred approach and learning through play. They will share our passion for providing a creative curriculum and will share our love of open-ended investigation and exploration.

    Painswick Playgroup are looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic, fun-loving Early Years Practitioners or Educators (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our friendly and dynamic team. Starting ASAP on a permanent contract 3 days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays (08.30 - 16.00) and Tuesdays, Thursdays (08.30 - 16.00) & Fridays (08.30 - 15.30) in our small (but up to date) term-time only setting. We have 2 positions available so we could be flexible with working days.

    Approved Level 2 or 3 qualifications essential. Up to date First Aid and Safeguarding/Child Protection qualifications would be beneficial but these can be completed upon employment.

    We are so lucky to be set in Painswick, the beautiful 'Queen of the Cotswolds' and are a committee led charity preschool for the benefit of the local community and beyond.

    We are looking to appoint a Preschool Assistant as soon as possible, working 12 to 16 hours a week spread over up to 5 days. Suitably qualified and experienced applicants available to work for fewer hours may be considered for this post. Broadlands currently runs sessions between 9:00am and 3:30pm weekdays during term time. Staff are required to work beyond these hours to set up and tidy up and to attend meetings.

    Located in the heart of Leckhampton, Broadlands is a thriving community preschool in a lovely setting. Open during term time, we care for approximately 50 children, aged between 2 and 5 years, over 10 sessions. We recently had a successful Ofsted visit and received a rating of Good with Outstanding elements. Broadlands is a popular setting, currently with most days running at full capacity. The Broadlands staff team are a friendly group and are supported by an active Committee of Volunteers.

    You will be a confident, enthusiastic person who has an excellent rapport with children aged 2-5 who is able to inspire them to be creative and have fun in a learning environment. You will have a Level 2 or higher full and relevant childcare qualification.

    The Broadlands team are a friendly group, and we are looking for someone who has superb communication skills and works well with others. Previous experience in a childcare setting is necessary together with a real enthusiasm for creating a fun environment in which children can learn. A clear understanding of, and commitment to, both safeguarding requirements and equal opportunities will be necessary.

    Bredon Playgroup is looking for a ‘Bank Staff’ Playgroup Assistant. Our sessions are term time and our team start and finish times are currently: 8:45am to 1:15pm/1:30pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday; 8:45am to 3:15pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are looking to extend the hours on a Monday and Thursday to 3:25pm at some stage.

    We are a friendly team who look after a wonderful group of children starting from age 2 up to going to school.

    The person we are looking for will ideally have;

    Flexibility to work when required - sometimes with notice but also at short notice.

    Experience of working with young children is essential; a relevant qualification in early years at Level 2 or above is desirable.

    We are looking for a team player with enthusiasm and a positive approach to work. We love to have fun with the children and our playgroup is a very happy place.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated early years qualified practitioner to join our team as Bank Staff.

    We are a friendly and popular community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 2 years 6 months and 4 years. Our hours are generally between 08:15 and 15:15. The hourly rate is national living wage.

    Working alongside our dedicated and experienced staff team you will assist in the daily running of the playgroup, providing creative play opportunities to meet children’s individual needs and support their development, communicating effectively with parents and carers. Safeguarding children is our priority.

    Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 and an approved level 2 or level 3 qualification is desirable.
