Trustee Position (Voluntary) Cheltenham - We are seeking to appoint two Trustees to strengthen the expertise of its board, and in particular those experienced professionals able to take a lead to ensure St Gregory’s Childcare Trust can focus on developing its educational and nurturing environment for local children. To help provided opportunities in a safe environment supported by our trained early years practitioners & senior staff.

Whilst being an independent charity for childcare, providing wrap around care for children aged 2-11 for 51 weeks a year, St Gregory’s Childcare Trust Cheltenham is also part of Gloucestershire’s Catholic School Community.

All Trustees make an active contribution to the Board, to support our work. Trustees have wide-ranging skills, knowledge and experience.

The overall role of a Trustee is to maintain an overview of the Charity’s affairs, our strategic planning, risk management and to provide guidance to help support viability and the proper application of resources.

These are purely a non-executive and strategic governance role and the organisation’s paid employees and volunteers provide as much support, assistance and resources as are available to enable the Trustees to be able to exercise their best efforts to carry out their duties and realise their ambition.

We are keen to talk to those who have developed and applied skills in areas such as Early Years Education, Business Management, HR or legal. Applicants from any sector who are seeking the opportunity to utilise their professional experience within an organisation which empowers young children to achieve and to build on their social skills for a bright future, would be warmly welcomed.
