    PATA (UK) are looking for Trustees from diverse backgrounds to take on an active role of our Board, attend & engage in six board meetings over the year (90 minutes each plus preparation time), with the potential to extend participation to subgroups if desired.

    With specific reference to PATA (UK)’s Financial Policy and Procedures, control of a charity’s activities lies with the Trustees.

    General Responsibilities (for all Trustees):

    • to ensure that PATA complies with its governing document, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations
    • to ensure that PATA pursues its objects as defined in its governing document
    • to determine PATA’s mission
    • to be involved in strategic planning and contribute actively to the Trustees' role in setting overall policy, defining goals and setting targets, approving and monitoring PATA’s programmes
    • to safeguard the good name and values of PATA and enhance its public image
    • to ensure the accounts are scrutinised in the manner required (independent examination or audit) and any recommendations are implemented
    • to understand and respect the relationship between Trustees and staff

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required, 16 hours a week, permanent contract. Term-time only. 

    We are looking for a talented and qualified Early Years Practitioner to work across our PATA Managed Groups. Applicants must be appropriately qualified at level 3 or above in childcare.

    As a peripatetic Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting staffing requirements at PATA’s 5 PATA Managed Group (PMG) settings in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Dursley, and Chepstow. You will work closely with setting teams to provide the highest standard of care and education for the children.

    The setting addresses are: 

    Elmbridge Under Fives, Gloucester. GL2 0LN

    Tiny Tots, Gloucester. GL2 OAT

    Funbusters, Dursley. GL11 5SF

    Penguins, Chepstow. NP16 7DT

    Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. GL54 5QJ

    Whilst the hours are fixed per week, you will be required to be flexible and able to travel to our settings, dependent on location, occasionally leaving home at 8am to be able to support a session starting at 9am.
