    We are looking to recruit a Bank Play Assistant ASAP. Pay: starting from minimum wage, dependent on experience.

    Reporting to the Playleader, your role will involve following the EYFS requirements for the pre-school provision, organising a range of stimulating activities throughout the sessions, promoting positive play, attitudes and equal opportunities, working with the staff and settings policies to provide a high level of care for the children.

    You will be qualified to an approved Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and a knowledge of EYFS and interest in SENCO. A certificate in paediatric first aid training and safeguarding is desirable.

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:00pm) term-time only at our setting in Longlevens. Start Date: September 2025.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

    The Family Haven is a registered charity, providing a day centre for parents and children who are socially isolated and in need of extra support. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Nursery Deputy practitioner to join our small, friendly team.

You will support each key person with their children, taking responsibility in the absence of the manager when required and supporting and maintaining daily routines.

    The Family Haven (TFH) are looking for Trustees. Vacancies available include Deputy Chairman of Trustees, Volunteers Trustee, Friends Trustee, Events Trustee.

    The Trustees have control of the Charity and are responsible for its activities, property and funds.

    We need trustees who can:

    1. Ensure that TFH pursues its objects as defined in the Memorandum of Association and in accordance with the Mission statement.

    2. Ensure that TFH complies with its constitution, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations.

    3. Contribute actively to the board of trustees' role in giving firm strategic direction to TFH, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.

    4. Safeguard the good name and values of TFH.

    5. Ensure the sustainability of TFH.
