    We are recruiting an Early Years Assistant, minimum 15 hours/week, part-time position, term time only. Need to be available minimum Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but there is the potential for more hours/days.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun-loving and caring person to join our team at this fantastic local setting that has just received an Ofsted Good Rating. Must be Level 2 qualified and ideally have certificates in both Child Protection and First Aid. Candidates should have a clear understanding of the EYFS and have a positive approach and dedication to the role.

    Early Years Practitioner (Part-Time, 18 hours per week - with potential for increased hours to 24 hours per week). Starting date: September 2024.

    Abbeymead Under 5’s is a small and nurturing playgroup committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment for young children aged 2-4 years old. We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are dedicated to fostering a love for learning in our little ones.

    We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team in the Rising 3s Room. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners. Key Responsibilities include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support the development of children aged 2-3 years old. To foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community within the playgroup. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents. Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall planning and organization of the playgroup.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience working with children aged 2-3 years old. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and a knowledge of SEN in an Early Years Setting.

    The Family Haven (TFH) are looking for Trustees. Vacancies available include Deputy Chairman of Trustees, Volunteers Trustee, Friends Trustee, Events Trustee.

    The Trustees have control of the Charity and are responsible for its activities, property and funds.

    We need trustees who can:

    1. Ensure that TFH pursues its objects as defined in the Memorandum of Association and in accordance with the Mission statement.

    2. Ensure that TFH complies with its constitution, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations.

    3. Contribute actively to the board of trustees' role in giving firm strategic direction to TFH, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.

    4. Safeguard the good name and values of TFH.

    5. Ensure the sustainability of TFH.

    We are looking for a Playleader & Manager for our fantastic inclusive, fun, and creative early years playgroup held in the village hall term time in rural Horsley. Hours of employment are up to 27 hours a week, Monday to Wednesdays according to Gloucestershire County Council term dates. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

    This needs to be someone with a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, EYPS, EYT or QTS, and have preferably worked in an early years setting for at least two years, with experience of leading the setting.

    We are seeking someone who is motivated, who has warmth, patience and a sense of fun! You must enjoy working with children and have good communication and organisational skills to join and lead our amazing team.

    The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage and be able to effectively manage the day-to-day running of our playgroup, as well as the longer-term vision and continued success. You will have the backup of a strong, experienced committee with financial administration in place.

    Busy Bees After School Assistants, Positions available Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm. Term time only. Hours to be agreed and to be worked flexibly, pay based on experience and qualifications.

    We are a fun-loving and ambitious setting, dedicated to providing quality and safe childcare. You will need to be fun, energetic, enthusiastic and able to be flexible and cope with the challenges of working with young children.

    It would be beneficial if you could complete a Rubix Cube, Juggle, be able to name a multitude of dinosaurs and run really fast. A love of glitter, sand and mud is also desirable.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated qualified Play Assistant to join our team from 4 September 2024 (can be flexible to date). 17.5 hours per week (Monday 8:30am – 3:00pm, Thursday 8:30am – 3:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 1:00pm) – term time only, with scope to increase the hours as enrolment number increase throughout the year.

    We are a friendly and popular community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 2 yrs 6 months and 4 years. Our general hours of work are between 8:15am and 3:15pm.

    Working alongside our dedicated and experienced staff team you will assist in the daily running of playgroup, providing creative play opportunities to meet children’s individual needs and support their development, communicating effectively with parents and carers. Safeguarding children is our priority.

    Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 and an approved level 2 or 3 qualification is essential. However, if the successful candidate is not qualified, we would consider offering an apprenticeship. It’s essential that long term the applicant is committed to study and becomes qualified.

Permanent contract with working days to be negotiated. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:00 & Friday 8:30 - 15:30 in our small and friendly term-time only setting.
