    We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner (Level 3). Would consider Level 2 if willing to complete Level 3 qualification. Term time only. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with hours increasing through the academic year.

    The children have asked for a nice caring person, who loves making mud pies, potion making and role play. Must be amazing at splashing is muddy puddles.

    St. Mary’s Playgroup is a small, friendly, and welcoming preschool setting based in Churchdown. Due to staff relocation, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

    We are looking for a candidate who holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, with a minimum of one year’s experience working in an early years setting.     Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required four days a week, approx: 6.5 hours a day (8:30am – 3:00pm) term-time only. Fixed term until July 26, with the possibility of extending. Working across our settings in Longlevens (PATA @ Tiny Tots and PATA @ Elmbridge Under Fives). Start Date: ASAP.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of our Longlevens settings.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

    Rodborough Playgroup is a well-loved, not-for-profit charity that has been providing high-quality, inclusive childcare for over 50 years on the edge of the beautiful Rodborough Common in Stroud. We are looking for an exceptional Playleader to continue our vision, lead our dedicated team, and ensure every child is at the centre of their own learning journey.

    As our Playleader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the Playgroup. You will report to the voluntary Management Committee and will mentor and motivate the staff team, fostering a creative, fun, and nurturing environment, whilst ensuring the delivery of an outstanding, play-led curriculum that meets the individual needs of children aged 2.5 to 4 years. You will maintain the highest standards of child protection and welfare, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, the Management Committee, and the local schools

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with GCSE pass in Maths, at least 2 years' experience within an Early Years setting and an expert knowledge of the EYFS framework, Ofsted requirements, and robust safeguarding practices. You will have excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills and experience and/or training working with SEN children

    Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner required until the end of the Summer term (fixed term contract) to primarily support a child with additional needs. Working hours: 8:30am – 3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Start date: January 2026.

    Initially this is a fixed term contract to the end of the summer term 2026 with a possibility to continue in September.

    You will need experience of working in early years, ideally with children with additional need and SEN training.     Playgroup Cleaner, 1 hour per day, 3:00pm - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only. Hourly Rate: Minimum Wage. Start: ASAP.

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular preschool setting PATA @ Tiny Tots, based in Longlevens.

    If so, we are looking for a friendly person to do some light cleaning duties each day from 3pm – 4pm (can be slightly flexible on time if required), Monday to Friday. Cleaning duties will include daily vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning the kitchen and toilets, together with additional daily/weekly tasks.

    The successful candidate must enjoy working around children, be DBS checked or obtain a DBS clearance (which PATA can provide) to work at the setting (as children may be on site) and be thorough and efficient. Please get in touch if this sounds like you!
