    We are a friendly and popular community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 2 years 6 months, and 4 years.

    Working alongside our dedicated and experienced staff team the ideal candidate will assist in the daily running of playgroup, provide creative play opportunities, meet children’s individual needs and support their development and communicate effectively with parents and carers.

    Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 and an approved level 2 or 3 qualification is essential.

You will have the ability to plan and support fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities, have a warm, caring and nurturing approach, strong communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues and the ability to work well as part of a team. You will have a knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, with a willingness to undertake training and continued professional development and be reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.

    Cashes Green Playgroup is currently Committee-led and works closely alongside Cashes Green Primary School where the setting for 2 - 5 year olds is situated. The Playgroup Committee is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, forward-thinking and creative leader to fill the role of Playgroup Manager. This will involve the strategic and day-to-day running of the playgroup and management of the team of staff. The playgroup currently consists of 2 rooms: Rising 3’s and Preschool. There are approximately 45 children on roll for September 2026.

    Our children are looking for someone who is kind, caring and empathetic to their varying needs,  fun and enjoys getting messy, happy being outside in all weathers and keen to encourage positive interactions.

    Our parents are looking for someone who is approachable and understanding, knowledgeable in how to access help and support as needed and an expert in child development and helping young children to thrive.

    The committee are looking for someone who is hard-working and innovative, committed to building links between playgroup and Cashes Green Primary School and all the families they serve, dedicated to bringing out the best in the staff team whilst moving the setting forwards and  experienced in managing a Playgroup setting including staff appraisals and supervision, budget management and day to day finances

    The Staff are looking for DSL support and someone with passion for SEND and a strong leader.

    We are looking for an experienced, values led early years leader to join us as Head of PATA Managed Groups.

    This senior leadership role provides strategic oversight of our PMGs, leading on quality, safeguarding, compliance, and sustainability across currently five settings, with potential for future growth. You will line manage Early Years Managers, act as Nominated Individual for Ofsted and Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation, and play a key role in shaping organisational strategy through insight from front line practice.

    The role is both strategic and hands on. You will be visible across settings, confident providing professional challenge, and committed to developing others while maintaining high standards and clear accountability.

    Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 Essential, Level 3 Desirable). Part-time, Permanent Contract. Hours: Monday 8:45am – 11:45am, Thursdays and Fridays, 8:45am – 3:15pm (16 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time including INSET days). There may be some flexibility in hours and days for the right candidate.  There may also be opportunities for additional hours to cover staff absence or busy periods, offering flexibility for those looking to increase their hours. Salary: £13.82 – £14.93 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and responsibilities. Start date: September 2026 (subject to notice periods).

    We are a voluntary-run charity based in the Leigh Building at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in the picturesque village of Nympsfield. We are open Monday to Friday, term time only.  We pride ourselves on being a nurturing, supportive setting for both children and staff.

     We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable individual who is enthusiastic, proactive, patient and adaptable. Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in the Early Years.  However Level 3 qualification in Early Years is desirable. Candidates will have experience of working in an Early Years setting, be able to work as part of an established team and demonstrate strong communication skills. A good understanding of the EYFS is desirable and will be further developed within the role. First Aid and Safeguarding training are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided by the setting.

     We offer a friendly, supportive and experienced team environment with opportunities for additional hours to cover staff absence or busy periods. Fully funded training and professional development (including First Aid and Safeguarding) are provided. Term-time only working, supporting work–life balance within a welcoming, community-focused setting.
