    Pre-School Co-ordinator. Permanent. Hours: 22.75 hours per week (term time only). Initially arranged as follows: Monday 8:00am – 4:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am – 5:00pm (including after-school staff meeting). Wednesday 8:00am – 4:00pm. (The Tuesday schedule may be adjusted annually depending on staff meeting and co‑ordinator planning arrangements).  Grade 5 (pts 11–14), £28,142 – £29,540 per annum pro rata Start Date: ASAP.

    Little Chestnuts Pre-school, based at Woodmancote School, is seeking an exceptional Pre-school Co‑ordinator to join our warm and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vibrant and reflective school community that values inclusivity, high-quality practice and strong teamwork.

    In this role, you will work alongside the existing Co‑ordinator and under the guidance of the school’s EYFS Lead to oversee the day‑to‑day running of the pre-school. You will help to create a caring, safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive, and you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality early education and care.

    We are looking for someone who holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, has a genuine passion for working with young children. You will be an outstanding practitioner with at least one year of experience in an Early Years setting, who has sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and related programmes/strategies. You will have strong experience and understanding of assessment and record‑keeping requirements in an Early Years environment and experience of leading a team, whilst being a proactive, positive and collaborative team player.

    We are able to offer you a supportive and friendly staff team, purpose-built accommodation designed to enable high-quality teaching and learning with a Governing Body that is both supportive and challenging, with a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing, pupil progress and the school’s role in the community.     We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

    Twyning Playgroup is seeking an enthusiastic and committed  Playgroup Manager to lead our friendly village playgroup in the heart of Twyning.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to join our team and play a key role in the continued development of our setting. The successful candidate will provide strong, visible leadership while working alongside our experienced staff team to deliver high-quality care, education and learning for children aged two to school age.

    As a working manager, you will balance time spent directly with children alongside responsibility for leading the team, overseeing the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding, staff development, quality improvement, administration and the effective day-to-day running of the Playgroup.

    A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our new PATA creche service. This Gloucester based service supports families and community partners by offering high quality, safe and nurturing childcare in a welcoming environment. Our creche will operate in well equipped, community locations across Gloucester with inviting spaces that encourage play, exploration and early development.

    This is a flexible role with ad hoc hours, ideal for someone who is passionate about working with young children and can provide high-quality support. Creche sessions will run for 2 hours, with staff paid for 3 hours per session to cover set up and close down. We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Educators with a Level 2 qualification or above to join our pool of creche workers. You will help to deliver a warm and engaging experience for young children under 5.

    The ideal candidate will be committed to providing an excellent standard of care, enjoy working as part of a supportive team and bring creativity, energy and a genuine passion for early years. You will need to be confident in working with parents and carers including those who may feel anxious about leaving their child, perhaps for the first time.

    Peadiatric First Aid is desirable although not essential.

    Lunchtime Supervisor

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular, preschool? 

    If so, we are looking for a friendly person to provide lunchtime cover and some light cleaning duties for our setting PATA @ Little Everlands which is based on the site of Cam Everland Primary School.  The working hours are 11:30am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday.  Initially this is a fixed term contract to the end of the summer term (July 2027). Paty rate: £12.71 per hour.  Start date: ASAP.

    The successful candidate must enjoy spending time with children and be enthusiastic and proactive. Main duties will include setting up tables for lunch, supporting children during lunchtime and cleaning, mopping and santising tables and chairs at the end of lunchtime.

    Glenfall Preschool is a small, committee-led, local early years setting for children aged 2 years to 4 years old. 

    We are an inclusive setting dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all our children. 

    We understand the importance of play. Learning in our setting is child-led. We have a free-flow approach to play with lots of outdoor play and messy activities! 

    We are looking for bank staff to cover staff absences as and when needed. Flexibility to work Monday - Friday, often at short notice is highly desirable.  You will have a warm, caring, nurturing approach, the ability to work in a small team and a fondness for cups of mud tea!

    Preschool Assistant. Permanent Position. Qualification: Level 2 or 3 full and relevant to early years. Days/times: Tues 9:00am - 3:45pm, Thurs 9:00am - 3:45pm and Friday 9:00am - 3:45pm, with flexibility to increase hours if needed. Term Time. Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour. Start Date: ASAP.

    Located in the heart of Leckhampton, Broadlands is a thriving community preschool. Open during term time, we care for approximately 50 children, aged between 2 and 5 years.  Broadlands is a popular setting, currently with most days running at full capacity. The Broadlands staff team are a friendly group and are supported by an active Committee of Volunteers. 

    Broadlands currently runs sessions between 9:00am and 3.30pm weekdays during term time. Staff are required to work beyond these hours to set up and tidy up and to attend meetings. 

    We are looking for someone with superb communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. 

    Previous experience in a childcare setting is necessary together with a real enthusiasm for creating a fun environment in which children can learn.

    A clear understanding of, and commitment to, both safeguarding requirements and equal opportunities will be necessary. 

    DBS required and Paediatric first aid and Safeguarding Level 2 is desirable.
