    Level 3 Early Years Educators required. Fixed term Contracts until July 2027, with possibility of extending. Various working hours available but can be flexible depending on requirements. Current options:

    • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:15pm
    • Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 3:15pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30am to 12noon
    • Monday and Tuesday 8:30am to 12noon, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 3:15pm

    Rate of Pay: £12.83 per hour. Start date: 1 September 2026.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.     Lunchtime Supervisor

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular, preschool? 

    If so, we are looking for a friendly person to provide lunchtime cover and some light cleaning duties for our setting PATA @ Little Everlands which is based on the site of Cam Everland Primary School.  The working hours are 11:30am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday.  Initially this is a fixed term contract to the end of the summer term (July 2027). Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.  Start date: 1 September 2026.

    The successful candidate must enjoy spending time with children and be enthusiastic and proactive. Main duties will include setting up tables for lunch, supporting children during lunchtime and cleaning, mopping and santising tables and chairs at the end of lunchtime.

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular preschool setting PATA @ Little Everlands based in Cams Everlands School, Dursley. 

    If so, we are looking for a friendly person to do some light cleaning duties each day from 3:00pm – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Initially this is a fixed term contract until July 2027 to begin 1 September 2026, with the option to be made permanent. Cleaning duties will include daily vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning the kitchen and toilets, together with additional daily/weekly tasks. Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.

    The successful candidate must enjoy working around children, be DBS checked or obtain a DBS clearance (via PATA) to work at the setting (as children may be on site) and be thorough and efficient.  Please get in touch if this sounds like you!

    Level 3 Preschool Assistant, Monday - Friday term time only. Pay: £13 per hour. Start date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026.

    Broadlands Preschool is a small but busy committee run preschool setting, in the heart of Leckhampton, Cheltenham. 

    We are looking for candidates with a minimum level 3 relevant qualification in early years, a good understanding of the EYFS, good communication skills and the ability to work alongside a team of practitioners as well as independently when required, to provide quality care to children aged 2 years-school age.  Previous experience of working in an early years setting, knowledge of supporting children with additional needs, certificates in Paediatric First and Safeguarding Level 2 are desirable.

    Your key responsibilities will include supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2-school age. Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress and development. You will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children at all times.     Naunton Park Preschool Playgroup is a committee-led, small, local playgroup for children aged 2 years 6 months to 4 years old. 

    We are an inclusive setting dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all our children. 

    We understand the importance of play. Learning in our setting is child-led. We have a free-flow approach to play with lots of outdoor play and messy activities! 

    We are looking for an early years practitioner who shares our ethos and values to join our small, friendly team. 

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare and experience of working with children aged 2 – 4 years. You will have a good understanding of the EYFS, up to date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, and a a willingness to undertake training and professional development. Ideally, you will have up to date paediatric first aid training. We are looking for someone able to work in a small team who is reliable, punctual, with good communication skills and a warm, caring, nurturing approach.

    Relief/Bank Staff required. Open Monday to Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm, term time for 38 weeks. Cover would be required on an adhoc basis between these times. Hourly Rate: £12.77 to £12.99 (depending on experience). Start Date: ASAP.

    The applicant will hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification and have experience of working within an Early Years Setting and be prepared to carry out any necessary training needed such as Child Protection, First Aid and Food Hygiene. Courses will also be provided to enhance your Continuous Professional Development.

    You will need to fully understand the EYFS, be aware of staffing ratios at all times and help with record keeping and making observations of the children.  The candidate will support the full staff team by following our policies and procedures to provide a high standard of childcare.

    We will require you to attend staff meetings or inset days where needed, communicate with parents in a positive manner and be aware of differing needs of a wide range of children.

    We are a voluntary-run charity based in the Leigh Building at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in the picturesque village of Nympsfield. We are open Monday to Friday, term time only and pride ourselves on being a nurturing, supportive setting for both children and staff.

     We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable individual who is enthusiastic, proactive, patient and adaptable. You will ideally hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in the Early Years. However Level 3 qualification in Early Years is desirable. You will have experience working in an Early Years setting, be able to work as part of an established team and demonstrate strong communication skills. A good understanding of the EYFS is desirable and will be further developed within the role. First Aid and Safeguarding training are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided by the setting.

    Playgroup Bank Staff Needed - Term Time Only, Part Time, Temporary.

    Woodchester Playgroup are looking for enthusiastic and experienced early years professionals to join the bank staff team. We run a welcoming and child centred playgroup open daily during term time from 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

    This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children aged 2 – 4 years, supporting their play, learning, and wellbeing in a friendly, inclusive setting. Level 3 Early Years Qualification (NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent) is an essential requirement.

    You will be stepping in to cover staff absences and busy periods, helping us maintain a safe and engaging space where every child feels valued.

    You will support the children to follow their own ideas and interests for play and carry out paper-based observations and communicate effectively with parents/carers.

    Most importantly you will have fun and be a great role model for the children.
