Early Years Educator (part time), Monday - 8:15am - 1:15pm, Wednesday 8:15am - 3:15pm, with a potential for increasing hours after probationary period. Salary dependent on experience. Start date – asap.

Twyning Village Playgroup is a popular and bustling Playgroup. We are a charity run, term time only setting, serving up to 20 children per session, aged 2 years to school age, and operate on a pop-up pop down basis.  We are offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our great team.

We plan in the moment and have excellent links with the local primary school, also offering the children lots of outdoor opportunities including Forest School.  The children are at the heart of all we do and we wish to continually improve their experiences with us. You will work under an experienced team and our passionate Committee to offer our local community the best environment for their children to flourish in.

You will have a minimum Level 2 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent with a commitment to obtaining further qualifications as appropriate. A sound knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding including Prevent and the ability to follow strict Safeguarding procedures. Certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding desirable (although training can be provided) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early years setting.
