Starting school is key moment in you and your child’s life. It can be exciting for all, but can also a time that can raise questions such as ‘what does my child need to be able to do when they start school?’.
Join us for this hour long session where Helen Tate, a former Reception Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher with over thirty years’ experience, will share ideas and considerations on how to ensure a smooth transition for your child moving from Nursery, Playgroup, Childminders etc. to their Reception Class. Helen will offer top tips to support you all at this exciting time in your child’s next step on their journey through education.

Delivered by: Helen Tate who has worked in education for over 26 years, the majority in Early Years. She has been a Deputy Head at a Teaching School providing guidance, training and support. She is also an Early Years Teacher and Consultant for a Local Authority.
