Challenging Our Expectations of Two Year Old Behaviour with Tamsin Grimmer

This is one of two courses we are running this term relating to two years olds. On 4th December we are also running 'Terrific Two's'. Whilst both courses are completely independent, we highly recommend attending both as they compliment one another. Terrific Two's covers the developmental age whereas Challenging Expectations of Two Year Old Behaviour will solely be about behaviour.

Course information: During the session we will

• Learn to recognise all behaviour as communication and feel increasingly confident when interpreting your two-year-old’s behaviour;
• Understand the importance of responding mindfully and proactively to children’s behaviour;
• Know and use effective approaches and strategies which promote positive behaviour based on an informed understanding of two-year-old’s holistic development;
• Reflect on own practice and identify strengths and areas for further development.

Suitable For: Anyone working or volunteering within an early years setting especially those working with 2 year olds.

Delivered by: Tamsin Grimmer who is an Early Years Consultant, Author, Trainer and lectures at Bath Spa University.

Cost: (one person per booking) Members: £30 / Non Members: £55

• Before booking a place, please read our information sheet which can be found here
• Please ensure you complete the 'attendee name' and 'attendee email address' (of the person attending) to ensure we send the Teams Invitation to the correct email address. A 'contact telephone number' for the attendee is also required in case we need to contact them in an emergency.
• Please note zoom invitations will be sent out 24 hours before the course/meeting starts. We are unable to send out zoom invitations until your invoice has been settled. Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date or 24 hours before a course/meeting starts (whichever is sooner).
• If payment cannot be made within this timeframe then please email training@pataglos.org.uk to agree an extension to your payment deadline, otherwise, your place on the course may be cancelled.
