Course Aim: To help you plan and prepare for those challenging conversations enabling you to feel empowered to engage in difficult discussions with parents, work colleagues or other professionals
We know that involving parents and carers in their children’s learning is the most important factor in enabling some children to do well regardless of background. Our parents and carers make a crucial difference to children’s outcomes and we have a responsibility to make all families feel welcomed and listened to. Whilst you can’t avoid ever having to have a difficult conversation with a parent or carer, there are plenty of ways to make it a more productive and pleasant experience.
We also know that at times you will need to have difficult conversations with your work colleagues (e.g., performance related issues, differences in opinions etc.) or with other professionals.
This pocket sized course will help you to deal with any challenging conversations.
