Terrific Two's with Tamsin Grimmer

This is one of two courses we are running this term relating to two years olds. On 16th November we are also running 'Challenging our Expectations of Two Year Old Behaviour'. Whilst both courses are completely independent, we highly recommend attending both as they compliment one another. Terrific Two's covers the developmental age whereas Challenging Expectations of Two Year Old Behaviour will solely be about behaviour.

Course Aim: - To understand the unique two-year-old child and explore how best to support them.

Course information: During the session we will

• Consider the importance of developmentally appropriate expectations;
• Explore child development in relation to young children 18m-2y;
• Understand the role of the adult in supporting young children through positive relationships;
• Explore how enabling environments can provide developmentally appropriate provision.

Suitable For: Anyone working or volunteering within an early years setting especially those working with two year olds.

Delivered by: Tamsin Grimmer who is an Early Years Consultant, Author, Trainer and lectures at Bath Spa University.

Cost: (one booking per session) £30 members/ £55 non members

• Please ensure you complete the 'attendee name' and 'attendee email address' (of the person attending) to ensure we send the Teams Invitation to the correct email address. A 'contact telephone number' for the attendee is also required in case we need to contact them in an emergency.
• Please note zoom invitations will be sent out 24 hours before the course/meeting starts. We are unable to send out zoom invitations until your invoice has been settled. Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date or 24 hours before a course/meeting starts (whichever is sooner).
• If payment cannot be made within this timeframe then please email training@pataglos.org.uk to agree an extension to your payment deadline, otherwise, your place on the course may be cancelled.
