By the end of the Reception year we want our children to be confident to try new activities and show independence, resilience and perseverance in the face of challenge. But what does resilience look like? How can we build and boost it within our young children and ourselves?
Resilient children are braver, more curious and more adaptable; they know their limits and can push themselves outside their comfort zone. This course provides a chance to discuss how environments, resources, activities and the practitioner can promote the growth of resilient individuals.
Please be aware that PATA Pocket Sized sessions are an insight to the subject topic and given the short time, inevitably, we won't be able to cover everything. If more in-depth training is required then we may be able offer this if there is enough interest or as a bespoke course for you. Also, please be mindful that these sessions can be fast paced with lots of information contained within them to ensure you get the most out of the hour session.
