PATA Christmas Card Competition! December 2024 This year we invited children from PATA member settings to design our 2024 Christmas Card. The winning design will feature as our official Christmas Card ending up in inboxes of all PATA member settings, our partners, contacts and social media as Christmas greetings. To say thanks the winning setting will be presented with a Eduzone Multi Activity Rocket Table kindly donated by Morton Michel. Congratulations to Stepping Stone Pre-school for winning. PATA @ Elmbridge under Fives graded OUTSTANDING by OFSTED! September 2024 We're so proud of the result which we really feel reflects what happens in the setting every day. The inspector made some lovely comments which you can read in the report here these include: "Children at this setting feel safe and secure. Staff greet them warmly when they arrive and children quickly immerse themselves in this exemplary learning environment." "The setting's curriculum builds effectively on existing skills. Staff plan to prepare children for the next stage of education whatever it may be, with independence skills." |
"Children at the setting demonstrate excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning. The nurturing environment helps children to develop empathy for each other and builds a respectful culture." "The setting offers excellent support for children with SEND. Staff adapt their teaching methods based on each child's progress and feedback from other professionals. For instance, staff use specific strategies to develop attention skills in children who need this support." We really appreciated the support of parents and carers, especially those who either spoke to the inspector on the day or provided testimonials via email and held a celebration party to mark the occasion. We look forward to the coming academic year and the opportunity to build on the great work already identified in the report. |
