    Early Years Practitioner required, full time, 30 hours per week. Some flexibility can be made. Salary: £11.99 per hour. Start date: ASAP

    The Family Haven is a registered charity, providing a day centre for parents and children who are socially isolated and in need of extra support. Early Years qualification minimum Level 3 Practitioner is required with a good understanding of safeguarding, child protection and wellbeing.

    This special role will include working closely with parents (most of whom stay on site), with a small team to support you, working closely with children to provide high quality care and education. You will support each key person with their children, taking responsibility for each key group as and when required.

    Flexible Part Time Early Years Supply Staff required - to cover staff holidays, sickness and seasonal additional hours. Early Years Level 2 or 3 preferred, but not essential as relevant training can be provided. Working hours will be dependent on the setting’s needs.     Nursery Nurse/Nursery Assistant – Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 6:00pm and Fridays 8:00am to 3:00pm. Permanent Position. Hours can be discussed but would be looking at a maximum of 42.5 hours a week. We are an open all year round nursery. Salary based on qualifications and/or experience.

They must be able to plan wonderful activities based on the children they have in the care and challenge them to learn new things on a daily basis.     We're looking for a fabulous part-time Housekeeper and Kitchen Assistant for our nursery. The role is year-round; 10 hours per week (4pm to 6pm each day).

    The role will include (but is not limited to):

    • Prepping tea and snacks on a daily basis
    • Consumables ordering
    • Support during special events
    • Housekeeping, laundry & cleaning duties
    • Locking up the premises

    Do note, our candidate MUST have a love of children, sharing our passion for providing the best, healthy start to their lives!

    Each day will vary, but will roughly include; preparing and serving tea to the children, tidying and washing up, ordering (and putting away) food and consumable deliveries, sorting our laundry, cleaning, locking up the premises.

    Our chosen candidate will help with special event preparation and serving - which will require a variation on the hours worked for those pre-booked occasions.
