    We have exciting opportunities to join our teams at Treetops in Dursley and Rowanfield Nursery in Cheltenham plus our new setting in Stroud (opening January 2025).

    The former Parliament and Treetops settings have been refurbished and we are looking for enthusiastic staff to join us to ensure excellent child-care provision in the Stroud & Dursley areas.  Our successful Nursery in Rowanfield also has vacancies to join an established team.

    All positions are term time only (39 weeks a year) as listed below and permanent unless specified.

    Senior Early Years Educator at Parliament (Stroud) (full time 37 hours/week)

    Early Years Educators – Parliament (Stroud) & Treetops (Dursley) (full time 37 hours/week and part-time 20 hours/week)

    Early Years Educators Maternity cover - Rowanfield (Cheltenham) (12 month contract, full-time 37 hours/week)

    Early Years Educator Lunchtime cover – Rowanfield (Cheltenham) (part-time 20 hours/week)

    Early Years Educators x 2 - Gardeners Lane (Cheltenham) (1 x full time 37 hours/week and 1 x part-time 20 hours/week)

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required as soon as possible, permanent position, term time only. Monday & Friday 8:30am to 12 noon.     Our popular, friendly and well-established playgroup is located on the site of Castle Hill Primary School Brockworth. Busy Bees Playgroup is a registered charity, run by a voluntary managed committee.

    A vacancy has become available for an enthusiastic, hardworking, fun-loving, self-motivated, caring and responsible early years practitioner to join our dedicated team. The successful person will take on key person responsibilities and assist with the planning and delivery of activities following the early years framework for children aged 2 – 4 years.

    In addition, you will work with the team and support the play leader, organise and supervise play activities; encourage positive behaviour; communicate with parents/carers; carry out child observation and assist with lunchtime duties.

    Applicants should have at least an appropriate level 3 qualification plus a good knowledge of the EYFS. Previous experience of working in a pre-school setting is desirable. The successful applicant will be subject to necessary pre-employment checks

    We are looking for a talented and qualified Early Years Practitioner to work across our PATA Managed Groups. Applicants must be appropriately qualified at level 3 or above in childcare.

    As a peripatetic Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting staffing requirements at PATA’s 5 PATA Managed Group (PMG) settings in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Dursley, and Chepstow. You will work closely with setting teams to provide the highest standard of care and education for the children.

    Whilst the hours are fixed per week, you will be required to be flexible and able to travel to our settings, dependent on location, occasionally leaving home at 8am to be able to support a session starting at 9am.

    Abbeymead Under 5’s is a small and nurturing playgroup committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment for young children aged 2 - 4 years old. We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are dedicated to fostering a love for learning in our little ones.

    We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This part-time position entails 24 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours in the future. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners.

    Key responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support the development of children aged 2 - 4years old, fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration, building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community within the playgroup. You will have the skills to observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and to collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall planning and organisation of the playgroup.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience working with children aged 2 - 4 years old. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and a knowledge of SEN in an Early Years Setting.

    Bank staff required, term time only We are currently looking for bank staff to join our friendly, happy team.  The setting operates term time only, 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday. The rate of pay is dependent on experience and in line with the National Living Wage/National Minimum Wage.

    Early Years Practitioner, Permanent, Part Time.

    We are based in St Christopher’s Church Halls in Warden Hill. All sessions are held at the Church Halls site, are a mixture of pre-school and rising three’s children. St Christopher’s Playgroup is Term Time only, Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm.

    You will be responsible for ensuring children are properly cared for and supervised through carrying out regular care and routine support, helping children in their play and relationships, their behaviour, independence and development. You will be implementing the EYFS, updating learning journeys and tapestry and working to promote safeguarding, equality and diversity and values in the setting.
