Flying Start Nursery  is a small, nurturing nursery with a true home-from-home feel, where children are supported to learn through curiosity, play, and secure relationships. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. 1:1 Early Years Practitioner Position Part-time, Fixed Term Contract, Term Time Only. Whiteshill Playgroup has been serving the families of Whiteshill and the wider Stroud area since 1985. We have a fantastic team, all of whom are professional, enthusiastic, and passionate about early years education.

We are seeking experienced early years practitioners to join our bank staff team, mostly covering for illness, busy periods, and other unexpected events. The role is on an ad hoc basis, but it’s likely that at least one successful applicant will be offered one day a week until the end of the academic year.

The playgroup is open daily during term time from 8:30am - 3:00pm, Tuesday to Friday, and welcomes children between 2 and 4 years old.

Applicants should possess an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education & Childcare or equivalent, and be proactive and motivated to assist the existing team in the day-to-day running of the setting. You will help deliver play-based activities for the children that foster a fun and stimulating environment, and support their learning and development in accordance with the EYFS framework.
