    The successful candidate must be motivated, creative and enthusiastic with an excellent understanding of the EYFS and a clear knowledge of Safeguarding. It is desirable for applicants to have certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding, however, please note that training can also be provided. You will need experience of working at Level 2/ Level 3 in Early Years.

    Trustee Position (Voluntary) Cheltenham - We are seeking to appoint two Trustees to strengthen the expertise of its board, and in particular those experienced professionals able to take a lead to ensure St Gregory’s Childcare Trust can focus on developing its educational and nurturing environment for local children. To help provided opportunities in a safe environment supported by our trained early years practitioners & senior staff.

    Whilst being an independent charity for childcare, providing wrap around care for children aged 2-11 for 51 weeks a year, St Gregory’s Childcare Trust Cheltenham is also part of Gloucestershire’s Catholic School Community.

    All Trustees make an active contribution to the Board, to support our work. Trustees have wide-ranging skills, knowledge and experience.

    The overall role of a Trustee is to maintain an overview of the Charity’s affairs, our strategic planning, risk management and to provide guidance to help support viability and the proper application of resources.

    These are purely a non-executive and strategic governance role and the organisation’s paid employees and volunteers provide as much support, assistance and resources as are available to enable the Trustees to be able to exercise their best efforts to carry out their duties and realise their ambition.

    The Family Haven is a registered charity, providing a day centre for parents and children who are socially isolated and in need of extra support. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Nursery Deputy practitioner to join our small, friendly team.

    Playleader/Manager required for our fantastic inclusive, fun, and creative early years playgroup held in the village hall term time in rural Horsley. Term time only. Hours: Monday to Wednesdays, up to 30 hours a week. Good rates of pay.

    This needs to be someone with a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, EYPS, EYT or QTS, and have preferably worked in an early years setting for at least two years, with experience of leading the setting.

    We are seeking someone who is motivated, who has warmth, patience and a sense of fun! You must enjoy working with children and have good communication and organisational skills to join and lead our amazing team.

    The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage and be able to effectively manage the day-to-day running of our playgroup, as well as the longer-term vision and continued success. You will have the backup of a strong, experienced committee with financial administration in place.

    Hours of employment are, Monday to Wednesdays up to 30 hours a week according to Gloucestershire County Council term dates.

    Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

    Twyning Village Playgroup is a popular and bustling Playgroup. We are a charity run, term time only setting, serving up to 24 children per session, aged 2 years to school age, and operate on a pop-up pop down basis.  We are offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our great team.
