Hours per week: 27 (Monday, Tuesday 8:30am – 4:00pm, Wednesday & Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm) or (Monday, Tuesday 9:00pm – 3:00pm, Thursday & Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm), with some flexibility of hours.     We have an amazing opportunity for a Level 3 apprenticeship. Previous experience is not required. However, we are looking for someone with a passion to help and support young children achieve their potential.     Would you like the opportunity to lead and shape a growing preschool with the full support of the PATA admin and management team?

    If so, we are looking for an early years manager for our popular, busy community term time setting in Cam, Dursley. You must be enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering an outstanding provision, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a level 3 or above in early years; as well as a strong understanding and knowledge of Safeguarding and supporting children with SEN requirements.

    If you have leadership qualities, a creative mind, the ability to inspire others and the desire to take yourself and the team to the next level, then we are keen to hear from you. A good knowledge of working with partnership agencies and children who are vulnerable or have additional needs would be advantageous.

    Key Worker Role, term time only, permanent position. Working days: Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays. 8:45am – 3:00pm. Total of 18.75 hours per week but as our cohort grows, there is the opportunity for more hours (can discuss and be flexible). Pay dependent on qualification and experience. Ideally available to start by end of February 2026.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive minimum Level 2 Early Years practitioner to join our team! Up to date First Aid and Safeguarding/Child Protection training desirable. This Key Worker role is for our small, friendly preschool in Prestbury, Cheltenham. If you value the care and professionalism in all early years practitioners and want to be part of a safe and exciting environment for children aged 2 and a half to 4 years old then please get in contact. We have recently moved into our brand new premises and have a great space to help children grow and learn in. 

    The successful candidate will help the setting follow a Planning in the Moment approach which focuses on each child’s ability to steer their own learning through play. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Child Development is expected in this role, and you will be responsible for a small group of key children.

    Playgroup Bank Staff Needed - Term Time Only, Part-Time, Temporary Position. Pay: £12.21 per hour.

    Woodchester Playgroup are looking for enthusiastic and experienced early years individuals to join the bank staff team. We run a welcoming and child centered playgroup open daily during term time from 9:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

    This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children aged 2 – 4 years, supporting their play, learning, and wellbeing in a friendly, inclusive setting. Level 3 Early Years Qualification (NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent) is an essential requirement.

    You’ll be stepping in to cover staff absences and busy periods, helping us maintain a safe and engaging space where every child feels valued.

    You'll support the children to follow their own ideas and interests for play. You'll also carry out paper-based observations and communicate effectively with parents/carers.
