How you can be more environmentally friendly

Energy saving ideas

Here are some quick wins for saving energy!

  • Only fill the kettle up as much as you need
  • Put your computer or laptop in sleep mode when you're away from your desk
  • Turn off your computer or laptop if you're not using it for an extended period of time
  • Favour natural lighting rather than using lights when they're not needed
  • Enable energy saving settings on your computer or laptop
  • Put your computer monitor or TV in eco mode, or lower the brightness
